Big Star Coloring Page
PrintThese pages are for about ages 2 to 3. Each drawing is one object made of a few huge shapes, so a child who holds the crayon in a fist can still finish the page.
The set is a ball, an apple, a fish, a cup, and a star. Print one sheet. Five pages on the table at once is a lot at this age.
Staying inside the line is not the goal yet. If the color goes over the edge, the picture still reads as a ball or an apple. When a child starts filling the shape on purpose and asks for smaller parts, move to the ages 3–4 sets, such as the animal coloring pages.
The next shelf after that is the garden coloring pages for ages 4–5. Ocean scenes are for ages 5–6, and town scenes are for ages 6–8. The home page lists them in that order.
Every picture has a US Letter PDF and an A4 PDF. The printing guide covers the printer setting.
Questions parents ask
What age are these big shape pages for?
About ages 2 to 3. Each picture is one object with a few huge areas. A child who still scribbles across the page can finish one in a couple of minutes.
My child is older and still scribbles. Can we use them?
Yes. The age is a guide for the lines. If staying inside a small shape is frustrating, print a ball or an apple and ignore the number.
Should I correct the color that goes outside the line?
No. At this age the win is covering the shape and wanting another page. The apple still looks like an apple if the red goes past the outline.
Which file should I print?
Download the US Letter PDF for a standard American printer. Download the A4 PDF if the paper pack says A4. Print one page, not the whole set at once.
